Hauling a 2000lb toy with my Titan (9400lb tow rating) or a Dodge 3500 Diesel.

Does it need to be a flatbed? or will an open top box trailer work?

That would work as long as its wide enough. 7.5 is the widest point (rear tires). Also I need to be able to get the motor over the trailer axles, so it would need to be a few feet longer then the toy. Wouldnt want the death wobble!

Sand Rail. Paddles on the rear. Not a VW engine!

Sweet! Have you check U-haul for their auto transporter? They used to be cheap as hell, like 50 a day or some shit, don't tell them its a sandrail, tell em it's a 98 Honda or some shit.

Did that, daily it would be like $300 roughly 6 days. If it was a 1 day deal I would be all over that.

mine are both 102" wide the bumper tow is 20' and 12kgvw  the goose is 26" and 24k gvw both are very heavy most likely you will need a diesel when I had my titan it struggled with the 12k trailer empty

Struggled? How heavy do you think the trailer is empty? I had roughly 4500lb behind me a couple weeks ago and only noticed when I pulled away from lights. Trailer was really "tongue light" so the rear tires would slip a little.

before the titan I had another diesel so maybe thats why it felt like that.I would assume the smaller trailer is maybe 3k ?
