GPS'd the boat yesterday. Had 2 chairs under bow along with tube and rope. Pass tank full, driver tank about 1/2 full. Myself about 280, and my son about 160. Going down river top speed was 54. I have no idea what RPM as the tach is still not working.

Sounds like a decent Speed as I'm a big guy myself 275 and have a 21' open bow and ran gps on mine by myself with both tanks full and was 53

slow boat- 19' saguaro, 655 lbs of boaters + coolers and chairs, 55 mph, Mouse motor
(130k mi then 7 years turnin' a pump)

I think I can top the slow boat category. 20' Daytona stock 350 and Berk JE with me 190 my brother in law 160 2 chairs and ice chest with full tanks 48mph. I know I know almost helmet speeds right.

I'll beat you all....
20' Southwind 460, pretty much stock with logs. About 400lbs of riders, ice crest, three chairs, easy up, and about 32 gallons of gas... Hit a high of 46 mph, can't remember rpm's. Hahaha
