Hi everyone, I just joined up for this site. I am a Challenger boat fanatic LOL. I have owned several Jets over time Southwind, Miller, Eliminator, etc and of course 2 Challengers at 1977 and currently a 1976. My dad purchased the 1977 challenger new in Newport Beach back in the day then it was handed down to me at 21. I sold it back in 1997 when my daughter was born thinking it was not a good baby boat with bassett headers and all, I regret that. I since picked up at 1976 Challenger that it amazingly all original down to the brown diamond tuck seats and brown shag carpet that is still fluffy lol. The original owner of this boat used it for two seasons then parked it until a couple years ago it sat covered for 31 years or so, the guy I bought it from used it for two seasons then sold it to me, I thought it was pretty incredible since really nobody bought these boats to not use. any ways here is a few pics. The orange Challenger in the last picture was the original one my dad bought new. feel free to comment.

What a time capsule! Nice find! Looks kinda like a eliminator splash...

Correct. a lot of the 18 foot boats back in the day were splashes of one another just minor changes here and there
