Post by: 0scar454 on May 13, 2017, 10:37:39 PM: Hi , I am a new member here but also new to boating . I live in Moreno Valley I am 21 years old and just bought my first boat a few months ago ! I purchased a 1988 21' open bow Commander jet boat , I'm not sure how many hours the motor has but the motor itself is a 1991 BBC 454 . I paid 6k for it what do you guys think was it a good deal ? I have but one picture I can post some tomorrow

I bought it off of a local on Craigslist, he said he took it to lake Perris often . Sounds sweet I will let you know ahead of time if I will be able to make it since I'm having issues with my truck right now .

I like e pumps on cruzers makes for getting things you suck up out much easier

That's a nice one , yea I don't think I'm looking to go too fast yet I don't even know how to drive the thing . Haha Mine only goes 55mph

Haha let's hope it's not too bad of a money pit ! I'm looking on getting some work done to both the motor and pump . I don't want to end up stranded somewhere

E pumps are a model of Berkeley pump that has the hand hole cover outside the hull of the boat.
