New to this website, hoping for a little guidance.  I am also looking for a my first jet boat to buy. I am 18 years old, I have had a house on the Colorado river in parker/earp that my parents own and I have been going for as long as i can remember.  We have a 24ft master craft that I have been able to drive on my own a few times, but never by myself.  I realize I will never be able to take our master craft out on my own with friends, so I want to buy my own boat so I can tell my parents to "F*** Off" and drive my own boat.  Like I said I do have driving experience and I am able to dock just fine.  Also growing up over the years I have learned how to fix and maintain our master craft.  I feel like a jet boat would be a great first buy for me because I am looking for a NICE LOOKING 16-19 ft boat and with my budget of about $3000 a jet boat will work just fine.  So if anyone is selling their boat for under $3000 please hit me up 714 504 639four. Right now I have about $1300 cash saved up. I also have few I can trade with the cash if you are interested. Thanks guys!

I have spent plenty of time on craigslist and I have found a few boats that will work for me.  Some one told me about this website so I decided to hop on here to see if there was anything available. 

 "Telling my parents to F off" was just an expression I would never do that!  Basically saying "I have my own boat now, you dont have to worry about me doing anything to your mastercraft" and YES I have talked with my father and he said I will be able to tie my boat to the front of our dock. only situation is we will not have enough room in our garage so he wants me to be paying for boat storage.

Like I said I have plenty of boating experience on our mastercraft, however due to family complications, I realized I wont be able to take the boat out on my own let alone with friends for awhile, thats why im on here looking for my first boat

I was stating that I have $1300 saved up never said I was looking to buy a NICE LOOKING JET BOAT with that amount of money. I am saving up fast! within the couple days I am up to $1500, and I think that is impressive from my perspective.  Thanks for the 2800 offer but im looking for a river ready 5 seater jet boat.

These guys are all great on here, your on the right track! I started out like you but with just a camper in New Mexico and worked my way up though boats, season to me is about over so don't jump the gun on a boat right now, look for one that could use the TLC your comfortable with over the winter and you will have a good boat when summer rolls back around! 👌🏼

To many variables to predict. Starting with a $3000 boat means everything in it is going to be worn down a bit.

When you find something you're serious about take someone that knows what to look for. Depending on the area you might be able to get a member here to take a look at it and give you some advice. Dad would be a good choice as well.
