Title: new project!
Post by: mobboss on May 30, 2015, 07:55:00 PM
So i went to lake nacimiento for the memorial weekend and found that my float was taking on an unusual amount of water!!! well i had some time today to figure it out. The berkeley jet cover leaks!!!, alot!!! so since i had to pull it i thought it would also be a good time to go to headers and cover the exhaust holes in the transom. heres  the start!

yes you will need to scratch up the chrome first tho!!!   use scotch brite or steelwool  to do the job. if not i will flake off.are they that bad??? cant tell from the pic.

Before giving up on the chrome id try some chrome polish 00 steelwool for the rust. I dont like chrome for that reason, its just not as good as it use to be!!! i cant remember the name of the stuff but it came in a toothpaste tube for the chrome polish .
