Title: new to jet boats
Post by: mountainhawk on April 26, 2015, 10:34:41 PM
hey everyone, I am from central California near Fresno. I am VERY new to jet boating, so i am looking forward to learning a few things in here. I recently picked up a 74 Cheyenne 19 foot mini day cruiser hull to give me something to do for the next 2-3 years (or longer). Right now, it is basically a bare hull, but I have already been finding some screamin deals on some very important parts. I managed to pick up a complete Berkeley JC-A pump, bellhousing, motor mounts, and logs for a BBC. Also should be picking up a set of side mount fuel tanks in the next 2-3 weeks. Still looking for a 454 block, and a trailer (one didn't come with the boat). My plans are to build a decent lake cruiser, around 450hp.

a photo of the hull the day after I brought it home...
