My sister and brother in law just signed their 19' hornet with a Chevy 454 and jacuzzi pump over to me. Picking it up on Sunday. This will be my first jet boat. Excited!!!

I added a rear set of Bimini hardware for in tow...This way its not resting like what you have...they sell a sliding track as well...

And go stainless, I had one of the plastic jobbers break on my first boat... Which made the opposing one break less than a second later.

So I want to mount the hardware so the Bimini lays forward in front of the helm?

if you lay it on the deck of the boat while underway you run the risk of it flipping back. ask me how i know :banghead:

Heres mine and you can see the rear mounts for in tow...Just in front of rear strap.

So correction the Hornet is a 71' and it is a 17 foot. New stainless Bimini hardware and a 27/1000 battery. I am so ready to get in the water. Next weekend will be our first trip.

So my wife and I took out our new boat this weekend. We had a blast!! We went to pyramid Sunday and got on the water about 8:15 am. The boat ran flawlessly and we gps it at 62 mph at 4800 rpm. I am not new to boating but this is my first jet drive. Wow it's so much fun!!!

Glad u the wife enjoyed the boat u still have plenty of time for trips, glad to hear the float ran good! 👍 we are making a trip to Parker / big river the 21st threw 23rd of September.
