Although a very funny video, I have found thru out my daily life (Own an IT consulting firm) that most of the problems and crashes that people have with the PC (IBM Clones) are self inflicted by people who are cheap(dont want to pay a pro) or....

nope thats it!

How many people will lift the hood on their car and start tinkering vs how many people dont think twice about opening their tower.

By the way I hate Apple, not the computers but as a Brand. Over priced based on hype, Their marketing has made them billions not their products quality!

Can't disagree to some extent but we depend on these Computers to make a living as well. I dont cut corners or look for bargains ,just want to leave the hood closed and have it start and run and be dependable consistantly and with a minimum of maintenance , my 8 month old HP in this latest case had a registry problem the "came with the cpu" Tom

I agree with you 100%....iPod is a perfect example. Everyone HAS to have one...why? cuz its the cool thing to own. But if you do your homework, there are much better, cheaper, logical, user-friendly, cost friendly devices. I hate them.

iPhone? what a joke. wait a couple of months and samsung will make one better, cheaper, and tie up with a better carrier.

....and dont get me started on the smug personalities of the mac owners....

I will admit one thing....Mac's are GREAT for audio and video processing. 99.9% of all music you hear today is processed on a mac. Other then that, their 'fisher price' mentality of an operating system just sucks.

Vista does suck. I have to agree with the video in that reguard. However XP has done great within our environment (at my company, approximately 350 computer users). Really there is nothing a Mac can do that a Windows based PC can't as far as video/music editing. All the same programs are offered for both, and both are capable of processing media in real time. Mac's really catch the eyes of the entertainment industry simply due to the fact that Mac introduced their systems to schools/colleges/art centers at a steeply discounted rate for many years. Such is the beginning of their reputation as "THE" media machine. However, try watching movies with quicktime, or Itunes. You'll be severely disappointed.

OH and wait til something goes wrong with a Mac. Watch as the "guru" who is constantly telling you how your windows based system sucks scratches his head in wonder. And kindly remind him that the new mac's are using the same hardware as your bedeviled Window's machine. Then ask him what software they're using for word processing, etc. (most likely MS office)... Microsoft could do a much better job of tightening the holes in their OS's and also get rid of all this bloaty bubbly shit, but they are still the best all around systems with the best bang for your buck.

The beloved MAC now comes with "The Blue Screen of Death"

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306857

I hate Mac Freaks!...."its so perfect" "it doesnt get viruses or spyware", blah blah!

They do get viruses, they do get spyware!

They run INTEL chips (Same as PC's), They run XP and Office and get THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!

$1200 bucks starting for an Ibook with 512mbof ram and a 12" screen, what a joke!
