Hey guys! New to the SCJB club here! Was invited yesterday. I just bought a 79 baja with a 460. All original. Little rough, but runs and floats. Will definitly need help here very soon if anyone is down!!! So my name is scott. I am active duty and definitly on a budget, thats why i got it for 700 bucks with a trailer. I am in 29 palms right off 62. So...whos heading out this weekend to havasu or parker?! :D pic was of yesterday!

Have you taken it testing on the lake across from main side? I've heard the water is crystal clear!

Jk man! That's a sweet deal on that Baja, cool boat. So you say it needs help. Give us some more pictures!!

Well...heres what happened...i took it out yesterday. Boggs put around 40 mph. Anythung under it cryises just fine. Then i lost all spark. Heres where im sitting right now

Dude. .. Thank you for your service! You be careful in what you do! Welcome to the site, it's a good place to be. My 2cents, fuel problems:filters, lines, jets, diaphrams, squirters, gaskets.
Distributer problem:cap cracks, brass terminal issues, not advancing properly or enough, points or module troubles. There's a thousand different areas to check. Talk to an old helo mechanic, I've worked with several, most intelligent folks I have known PERIOD. Good luck sir.BOOYAA. Cool barg. Nice buy!

Thanks VW. Im gonna replace all the ignition components this week. I wanna head out saturday again if anyone is down to do a mini meet. Meet in 29 palms, then cruise out from here

And i have no clue about jet boats. Im a muscle car guy. So motor work i can do, all the way to the exhaust. So any help would be insanely awesome

Lol, you will learn man. It's all a learning curve. Plus the amount of help/knowledge here is crazy. Good luck
