Title: Newbie lookin for first boat
Post by: Maker on June 30, 2014, 12:39:47 PM
Hi I'm Chris I've been around jet boats my whole life. I recently relocated to Bullhead city and I'm now really interested in getting a boat for myself. I'm currently looking at a 19' spectra that I found on craigslist mohave county    I'm not sure how to post the link to it but it's titled 1976 19' spectra jet boat   Any thoughts would be appreciated

That thing is clean.
But I don't like the 350 in it, and hate the fact he says no test runs.... Big red flag In my opinion.....

I'm not worried about the engine  right now as long as it will get me through the season  I have a 427 BBC that needs to be finished   and yeah that no test drive seems fishy

For 7k, I would definitely want to take it for a spin. Just like buying a car but "no you can't test drive it" lol, but damn that boat is sexy

Lol, I made the mistake already, cost me a fortune. It's a great hull and looks to be well cared for. Where in bullhead are you? I'm heading out Wednesday to Ft mohave.

My dads friend has a spectra 19  that we have taken just about everywhere  and I love the way they handle when it gets choppy    I'm up silver creek by the hospital

Clean ass boat. Here's the link. It is weird about the no test drive, but then he says cash must be in hand before boat hits water ??????
