Thanks guys....I've noticed an increase in traffic as well - about 20% compared to this month last year. I've been doing some tweaking of the site on my end as well with the search engine optimization.

Anyone notice our rankings on the search engines?

For the term "Jet boat forum"

Google: #1
Yahoo: #2 to PB
Bing: #2 to PB

Couple of years ago we didnt even render on the first page of results. We were getting beat out by sea-doo/yamaha style jet boat forums

What I have noticed is the "most online ever" total jumped from around 200 to over 700 recently.

that is VERY misleading.

the reason for that is someone hot linked pictures from the 'piece of ass' thread to a larger forum (some old man offshore fishing site)....the traffic here spiked for a few days because of it.

Damn dirty, old men... Probably a spike in viagra sales that day too.

Anyway, gonna go check n' see if that thread is still here.

I've noticed the same thing. And because in the construction business, I am actually noticing an up in work the past two months or so. And it's not just a jump here or a jump there. It's consistently a need for more. And all over the place. (I work for a heavy equipment rental / service / sales company)
