Quickjet drives V-drives?

My Challenger runs 78mph on a 150 shot. The boat is heavy with a 454 nothing special motor. My Cole t-deck (jet) runs alot faster than the Challenger with about the same HP. The haul has alot to do with it.

I got my ass spanked by a daycruiser runnin a stroked Chevy BB with a v drive and I found out later a 3 speed transmission! I am running a 1976 Eliminator daycruiser with a drake pump(I know, I know) and a Chevy bb . I run around 65-70 and he ate me up!

I was embarassed until I found out he was running the 3 speed transmission.

When I found out that it was Daddy's boat and he was the same age as me I got a good bit less ashamed of mine. I have had it on the water one season and next year it will be faster1

Hey I am with Ya. i love to hit the water. I just dont have many people to jet with around here. Jets arent as big here in Texas as they are out west. People still drop their jaws and stare as I fly by. I LOVE IT! Just wish I had people around to trade and talk with.

You can still ride in a boat even if it DOES sit on the trailer all weekend. Yah just hop in and make your own engine noises. After a few beers it's actually fun.......
