So I thought the weekend was going to be a good weekend even though I wasn't going to the river. First time in about 10 years I didn't go but I figured there is always next year. Saturday was a good day. I rebuilt the carb on the boat got it running good so I could take it to Elsinore for Labor Day. Hung out with some friends drank some beer and BBQ.
Then Sunday morning about 9 in the morning my 2 y.o. decides to start jumping on her bed when she falls and hits the bottom of her chin. She's screaming and there is blood everywhere. 5 hours later we get home from the emergency room. She has 4 stitches and is in a horrible mood. Mom calms her down while I go outside to work on the boat a little more. Usually when I go outside I am greeted by my dog. But today I can't find her. So I start walking around my back yard and find her laying in front of my golf cart. She wasn't breathing. She would always hang out next to me while I worked on my projects and all I can think about is her by my side while I'm wrenching.
I wasn't able to make it to Elsinore (a little hungover) but my daughter is back to her crazy self running around and jumping off everything and anything she can climb up. The whole family is sad about our dog and of coarse the kids don't understand where she went (which is harder then anything).
