Making friends

OK since im a new boat owner and out of all my friends im the only one with one. so i know this sounds extremely werid but planning another trip to naci or san antonio in like a month not sure on the exact date yet but the lake is always more fun when there are other people so if anyone up for a lake trip soon let me no

an my boat may not be as fancy as all your guys but it will get there its a project boat an im a 18 year old college student who works on his parents ranch to be able to pay for stuff on my boat ha so cut me some slack lol

there are a few guys that go to that lake, i know memorial day justin aka just electric is going.

man i wish i would have gotten into this at 18

all that matter is that your into it now right ? haha i know im loving every second of it and im actually glad i bought a project boat rather than finished because i enjoyed building that engine it was my first big block build!

i think the best part about a project boat is that there no drama its just you and the boat it wont talk back, try and start shit with you unlike women no offense to women. i love my girlfriend very much but even though i had my girlfriend before my boat i think my boat is going to be my first love hahah

and once my boats finished i got another project thats almost done i have a 1930 ford model a that i choped the top 4 inchs channeled it put tear drop tailights in hidden hindges did some bondo work on it because well once i sand blasted it i saw it had a bunch of bullet holes and dents. im going to put a v8 flat head in it and then going to do a shovel nose front grill. then what ever color my boats gonna be thats the color im going to paint my hot rod so i can tow my boat with that and be matching

welcome to the site. nice work getting involved into boating at a young age. i grew up around horsepower, and loud fast motors. im only 30 but i wasted a lot of years messing around with cars and getting into too much trouble before realizing that you cant have a fast car anymore. a few mustangs later i bought a SUV with the hopes of buying a "toy" and now i have my 18' boat that i can make as loud and as fast as i care to throw my wallet at. growing up i spent a lot of time at the lake in flatbottoms and blown daycruisers.

i dont go to that lake (or any yet) but look forward to reading your project thread. feel free to start one up and dont forget to keep the pics flowin.

will do ! Im trying to get in much boating in the next months im going to be going into the police academy and its a 6 month program goes from july to dec. and its full time
