Title: Nylon braided line vs steel braided line
Post by: B.CR33CH on July 18, 2016, 12:10:57 PM
Anyone use the nylon braided lines for fuel and water? Thinking about swapping, what's the pros and cons? Should or shouldn't do?

It's the liner material you need to be mindful of. The jacket means nothing.

Who's hose?

used the black nylon braided on all of my fuel lines. A LOT easier to work with, you dont cut your hands up. I think it looks better.

IDK what my hose is, i just bought whatever G&J stocked.

They are open 830-5 monday through friday and 830 - 1 or 2 on Saturdays.

Great guys, prices are great too. Typically the same or close to the same price as summit house brand.

Take cash  ;)  ;)  ;)

I have all black nylon braided, Earls. As said before it's a lot easier to work with and holds up well.

Just don't kink or bend it crazy. I made that mistake when removing and installing my motor. Oil line collapsed right at the kink.
