Lost my grandpa last year.....good man who was the backbone of the fordlover clan. Remember visiting 2 months before he died. Came by myself without my kid or wife. Knew I needed that time with him, alone. Did yard work around the house while he was napping, grandma would nap too. Felt good to help out and glad I visited. He still acted like such a trooper yet could barely breath. Then we would just sit there watching ESPN when he was awake. Miss him. One of the most patient men I ever met. Such a good teacher.
Fun memory, on the day I graduated high school was the day of my bowling league. My grandpa LOVED bowling. He was a stud bowler. He came with me. I got a nine the first frame and then proceeded to strike 10 times in a row. Ended up with like a 270. He was so happy. Then we raced off to meet my parents at my graduation. Good memory.
