Title: One mile down and a thousand to go.....
Post by: Luckie Stiff on March 22, 2008, 04:49:51 PM
Well after what seems like forfockingever, I'm done with the mechanical end of "The Cougar Hunter". A buddy of mine is coming by tomorrow to wire it all, I think we'll add some fuel and fire the bitch up! Interior is being made as I type, I'll be Central Coast bound for the carpet next week. Cables are in the garage. All told, I'm in this bitch $4200. I gotta say thanks to Brad, Jim Brock & Cyclone Marine, Tom & JBP, Ralph, Terry Valore, and everyone here who gave me advice/help, Thanks fellas.

Thanks fellas, I should be on the water sorting shit out soon. Nordic, that's what the top's for, still not sure about running it. Now if I can find a good hull for NJ/CJ, we'll be having some serious fun!

WOW Skip, she's looking good brother ;D

I didnt know you were so close to being done with her ;) Im right behind you man, getting close.
(no comments Beerjet) ;D

Ok now someones got to hook me up on where you got all your hose and fittings from. I have all the lines done in SS with A N fittings but its all garbage and will cost me a arm and a leg to replace.
I would rather just get it in the water without losing a limb doing it :banghead:

Looks great........

Steve- I got them from a local industrial hose supply house, 300 PSI push on hose, I have $133 in ALL of my hose and fittings, fuel lines from tank to tee, tee to pump, pump to carb, ALL the water lines, the overboard dump, the whole enchilada. If you'd like, I could go get the stuff you need and ship it to you, just let me know.

Nordic- It's not the MPH I'm worried about, I really don't want to drill holes in my boat, and I can't figure out where it would rest when it's not up? Seems like it'd hit the headers? I dunno, school me!

I traded him that Tahiti for the yellow boat. Then I sold the yellow boat 3 days later and bought another one. I can honestly say I swapped more boats in 1 week than I usually change my boxers.

Saw that, it came out bitchin' is Toothpick happy now? The Tahiti isn't going anywhere for a while, I'm doing carpet & stuff this weekend, seats aren't too far out, then it's off to the lake to see if this BBF will last more than 5 hours before it kicks a rod out of the block! Are you going to Parker in April? What weekend?
