Now that's a crock of crap.  If a disaster hits somewhere else truck loads of stuff goes out.  There's ALWAYS something that can be done to help.

i have this miniday cruiser in my driveway...it needs to be sold, it could go up in flames if it sits @ my house for too long, could damage the whole neighborhood, some one needs to come buy this thing....3k i ger married in 4 more days....

Greg your best bet is probably to contact your local Red Cross chapter and see what they have to say, I can assure you that there will be a HUGE need for clothes, blankets, toothbrushes, the daily stuff we all take for granted. That's what I'm doing.

I heard on the news about 10 minutes ago that the only thing needed was $$$ pertaining to the San Diego County wildfires, with the one exception of a city called Poway which needs pillows and blankets as well.

That's what the local Red Cross told me tonight as well, they'll take the $$$ and buy blankets, pillows, etc. I'm not exactly next door but if anyone, and I mean anyone from this site needs anything, let me know and I'll help out however I can.
