Panthers "trim" (they call it a Jet O vator) consists of a Stainless box tube that is installed into your existing nozzle . In order for this to be done they require you ship them your nozzle assembly for them to machine and fit . The controller is a non detented Jet shifter and when your done (about $750 + shipping later) you have a few degrees of up and down trim via internal nozzle deflection . Sorry to be a downer but a few years back we had one of these done for a customer and were very dissapointed  Tom

BTW have seen folks "adapt" place diverters to this jet (welded flages etc) dont recommend it , The panther jet depends on its Huge exit nozzle and when a standard Place is used it kills performance

When your ready let us help with a mod that will give you bang for your buck

just so i dont confuse anyone that was me posting as bigguy. sorry about that. i think i am going to pass on this diverter deal until JBP tells me what to do.. lol

my panther keeps up with everyboat my size. even beats jimmys 502 with a berk and diverter so i dont see anything wrong with it. i just want some show to go with my go!!!

LIES LIES LIES. We have gone over this many times Tony. You know my boat is faster. Let's remember it's a STOCK 502 as well. How built is that 454 you are running?

Now that is cleared up, get the diverter. It's just a cool factor. I don't use my diverter for trim unless I am spanking your ass in a race. That's the only time i've ever used it that way. Most of the time it is to throw a big ass rooster to show off. It's what I do!

I say if your Panther  works well and your happy with it leave it , and spend the money on beer , gas and "loose women"  ;D , You wont gain significant "bang for buck" IMO , if you decide to go with it swap out the joy stick for a detented controller (place diverter style) Tom

i gpsd my panther at 57mph and that is not bad in my opinion for a boat my size. i think since it is pretty much a fresh pump it is fine for now but i will not be rebuilding it i will tell ya that when it is time it will be getting a swap. that is if i am not on to my next boat bythen.
