If you're not on the water somewhere, you should be working on those projects, or doing some fine-tuning, today.

I'll be opening up my 455 olds to see if I can't free her up.

yeah i know  >:( but i gotta work a half day, i thrash on my stuff every weekend and i seem to get now where :-\ sometimes its fusterating when all i do is spend $$$$$ and never get to the lake. oh-well enough of that i will be thrashing after work......... again

got my new cables last night from Rex Marine gonna go put it all back together today and hopefully hit the water tomorrow. ;D

I've got to overhaul the carbs and do some testing before I go any deeper into the boat.  But I am also in the process of rebuilding a 68 Jeep CJ5 that I want to finish this year.  So, off to work I go.

Intake manifold and heads now off. Does anyone know what that orangy flakey stuff might be? Someone told me it was something called 'rust' but I need other opinions.  :(
