We have done the float for the last three years and I always run my boat during, upper river is clear, we run up to the dam, float for awhile and then back to our float and pull people back into the current, just gotta be careful with everyone floating and there are usually alot of partol boats and rescue boats in the mix.  No one has said anything to me yet and two years ago we had probably 30 people tied off to the boat while we floated with everyone.

The float starts at Patria Flats, by the Cop Shop and goes to the beach at Bluewater.  You can boat in this area but its no wake speed, be prepared to pull tubers back into the current, they beg for it.  I have a house at Marina Manor, right in the thick of it, I usually sit on my boat in the dock and just watch the spectacle.  Its a good time.....

Ive heard the same thing about no boats yet I've seen plenty floating along with the tubers on You Tube. I plan to float along in the boat with everyone so i can keep the sandwich cooler close and the beer cooler closer! All my friends will be in the tubes. So anyone gonna be out with their boats?

Went to the float this weekend!! It was awesome plenty of boats!!

Lots of cops patrolling telling boats tht it was a no wake zone

Took about 4 hours to get to patria flats to blue water just floating down.

I was hungover from the night b4 at the roadrunner so I didn't drink to much at the float off

We floated from up near the start to the Keys, then tied up at a friends house and watched the festivities.

Yelled at Chromey as he floated by, but he couldn't hear me.  :o
