so the wife pee`ed on the stick yesterday and we got a big + so we are super happy but we lost the first one and it took us along time to get our beautifull baby girl . so we are hoping this goes well .. if some you all are praying type folks please keep us in them. how about keep your fingers crossed for us ... thanks robbie :D ;D thanks hope to see ya on the water this year.. well maybe next lol

congrats! we're peeing on everything and so far no +'s or triple lines, etc. who wouldve known that it would be so difficult?

for sure the first time took us two years and now she is two years old.. but we didnt start till she was 7 or 8 mounths ... i hope it goes faster for you good luck practice makes perfect as they say .. ;D

Mr kaOtyk for your first she will say she is just a bit late then the boobs will hurt a bit . then ' i feel fat '.. and then you get the go to the doc.. if at all possable go to all the doc apointments the ultrasounds are amazing.. my wife planned them all around my days of so i got to see them all. .. totally worth it .. i am a bit happy and excited to go for another one .. we shall see

I remember once at 4:30 AM my first wife throwing something at me (I was still in bed, it was tax season so she was getting ready for work). I said "What the hell is this?"
She said, "Its a stick, I pee'd on it, it's positive you asshole, what do you think?"
I said "At 4 AM, you can pee on anything you want" and went back to sleep.
Wasn't until I was driving to work 4 hours later that the mornings events sank in and I hadda call her, lol. :thumbup:

see what you need to do, is on that last thrust you need to make it count, jam your thumb up your ass and get that extra 1/2 inch. BAM 9 months later crying baby. True story.

yep if your wife is a civil engineer and works with spread sheets every day you get used to them .. she is smarter than i and gets payed more than me so i must comply .. or let her think that way .. lmao thanks guys for the support we hope all goes well and i hope things go well for you Kaotyk and mr bj have her pee on sticks .. lol

Suppose I will have a lot to learn.. No talk of kids yet, we're both pretty selfish and supportive of things we want to have right now. I would be the one to wake up one day and want to have someone to take fishing years later.
I had too much fun at the river on dads boat going on houseboat trips as a youngster to not pass it along.

5 kids here.. Daughters: 27, 25----- then my sons: 15,13..... And the baby...my little girl who just turned 11 Wednesday.
I'll be 62 when my youngest is 18....
I could have lived without having kids.... But my life would not have been so FINE!

Similar story here. The first took a long time and $$ to the doctor only to miscarry. Then with a little help from the doctor, my daughter was
born. 6 months later, my wife comes down the stairs after "peeing on the stick" crying " I'm not ready to do this again!". 9 months later my son was born.

i hear you guys i did not think my katie bug was going to " fit " into things.. but i am so wrong just two days ago i woke up to my baby saying hi daddy as i woke up .. as she staired at me from the side of my bed.. just her little smiley face looking at me.. was i ready to get up hell no .. but what can you say your little girl wants some milk so you get your happy ass up .. looked kinda like this ;D :thumbup:

I know the feeling. It's like being excited all day to get home and work on a project and then the first thing you see is this face and you spend the rest of the day inside talking like a baby just to get another glimpse of a smile.

My wife is a long time labor and delivery nurse. She had time of conception planned down to the minute, or so she said. I had my doubts because we had been together nearly 12 years and had a lot of missed b/c pills along the way. A LOT ! Well we got pregnant with the my oldest on the first try and it only took two tries on the second.
We had been in the middle of a huge fight about something on the second one. We had gone to opposite ends of the house to get away from each other, when she comes into the bathroom where I was putting in new baseboard. She says "we have to do f@ck." No we HAVE TO she says. Bent her over the tub and took out a whole lot of aggression that afternoon. I swear it had something to do with the end result because my youngest is a pistol! He has a stubborn streak like no one has ever seen before and will go after his brother who is 80 lbs and 25 inches taller like a honey badger. The older one shows remarkable restraint I must say.
Wouldn't trade either of them for the world, the wife on the other hand . . .
And I will be 64 when the younger one graduates high school. :screwy:

funny stuff i have had friends from work tell me to get a boy i needed to hit it hard and after the O0 the pick her feet up and shake them around the give them little guys some help i guess .. lol .. she just laughed and said whatever ..

Congrats bro, being a Dad is the greatest. It can also be scary! (Our youngest is a Marine in the Persian gulf right now) I have one and my wife has five (all are grown now) and it's lots of fun. Being grandpa is even better (because you get to send them home loaded up on candy and mountain dew ;D ) We have 11 grandkids and only 3 oldest kids have children so far!
Our prayers are with you to have happy, healthy baby!!!

thanks a ton so far the wife has been way sicker than the first she is layed up right now thinkin about toss in some cookies i feel for her she is a trooper ..
