It all depends on the value and what limits you want/need. Average is typically between $50-100 a month.

Let's talk Insurance

Hey All,

I read all of your input on what's covered, what's not covered, what to tell your insurance company, what they're willing to cover and what value they are covering your boat for. Give me a call and I'm happy to give you all the information you want. The reality is that we never use insurance until it's a major accident or loss. I think Dennis was the one who said he didn't mind paying the premium because the alternative to not having insurance is being out the 25K he has into Becky and I couldn't agree more.  There are a million options out there and coverage combinations. Jet Boat Insurance is not one size fits all. And honestly as the price of a 55mph boat vs. a 85 mph boat isn't that different, being honest upfront guarantees that in the case of something major the insurance company doesn't hesitate on paying the claim.
Insurance is not manditory on the water but in all its a safety precaution. Imo why not protect yourself and belongings. And unfortunately my boat is not the easiest to get insurance on. Nikki was able to help me out and able to get me insured with ALL THE CORRECT information provided. She was extremely easy to do business with. She has my vote, recommendation, and will be my provider as long as I own a boat. And like she said above estimates are free!!

I did a long shot through my AAA and it was easy and cheap. Guy came out and did the inspection his only comment was beautiful boat. And he was an older man in his 60s didn't Harass me on open headers or being 700hp. Asked top speed I told him 75-80. It was less than 200 a year and covered for 15k.

I spoke to him, I told him to find a Farmers Agent, go into their office, call me and I'll teach that agent how to write a jet boat policy.
