not sure how everyone feels about this, but im really tired of how sensitive everyone is about everyday life these days, just tryin to name a boat gets hard,cant piss anyone off, cuz someone will be upset with what u pull out of ur ass,, we've named 2 boats in the past month... one was "problem child", cuz it wont stop blowing up, the other "whiskey tango" cuz the damn boats been thrown together alll white trash like after blowing up itself... my flatty really needs to painted in the next season or 2,, and i think it would be fun to paint it black ,and rename it from "aquaholic" to" spearchucker"!! does the naacp spend much time at the river??? ur comments on the matter will be greatly appreciated... >:D >:D >:D lmfao

I'm probably more politically active than most. I follow politics too much. In this instance, I wouldn't give a shit what someone thought about what I name my boat. And I wouldn't hesitate to tell whoever objected just how I feel, Name it whatever you want to name it.
If you name it spear chucker, anodize everything in gold, douse it in cheap cologne, and throw some 24" hoopty's on the trailer.
Oh ya,.....and don't register it either. O0

^^^^^^^^ best advise ever!!!! I agree 100% you shouldn't care what people think about ur boat name do what u want, your the one paying for the boat and all the stuff being done to it.

First off, I agree with everyone else here. Name it whatever you like. But . . .
Spear chucker isn't very nautical and secondly, you will HATE owning a black boat. It will never look clean outside your garage, it will amplify water spots showing, and it will be too hot to touch all the time at the river. Ask an owner of a black boat before you make the leap.

A name of a boat is just a name of a boat! And anyone who takes it the wrong way needs to lighten up! But a black boat are you nuts!! You won't be able to touch it he'll or sit on it. Black may look cool but it has to be the worst color for a boat!!!

great advice guys anyways,, thanks alot .. i keep hearing black boats are a bitch to own, but damn i think it would be funny.. i have a black friend stayin with me right now, and he wants to name his future boat "moon cricket" lmfao.... we're terrible.

Spearchucker might be a little over the top... But then again, my boats names is White Trash, the Carrera is White Trash Too, so I got nothin.

The boat does not have a name on it, but the Crusader my dad built has been dubbed "Looted Booty"... Basically it started it's second life as a recovered theft...

My .02 as well. Although the names could be funny, there isn't a reason to put a racist name on a boat. There are plenty of funny names that aren't racist...

Hey bud, it's your boat... I'm just giving my .02, do I think it's funny?, of course. Appropriate? Not so much. That's just my opinion dude. In the end it's your time, your money and your boat.... Whatever you do is up to you my man. I agree 100% with you on the sensitivity of society so by no means am I trying to argue. Maybe I just like to play it safe.

Re: the dark Purple My first boat was an 18 ft Horizon that was painted metalflake purple. Very purple and very metal flake, think bass boat blingy. It was already named Plum Loco when we got it. It would be pretty cool to see another Plum Loco tearing up the river. The name always served us well, feel free to use it.
And just how the hell does Spear Chucker relate to a boat or boating? Just because it is black? I am as far from being a bleeding heart easily offended liberal as one can be, but if you are naming it Spear Chucker just because it is black, then yeah, that could certainly be interpreted as a bit racist.

Mine is El Mojado. So I cant say much.....But.... I'm mex-amer. If you were black and your boat had that name, it might be funny. But if not, boat at your own risk. But it doesnt offend me. But I have thick skin.

I had more WTF moments during that video than any other one I think I have ever watched. That one boat midway through must have had 25 people on it. And those lake lice flying in all directions, OMG. The "pre game warm up" for the first 30 seconds was a bit frightening to think about too.
