I heard that there was a $10 million contract in the bill going to some business on the central coast--somewhere between San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles--for research and development of a device that will improve the fuel economy of jet boats. Obama says that the fuel savings each summer would solve the energy crisis. Hmm Tom, how about a loan?

The only spending he cut was military spending lol. Go figure. What really gets me is we are paying to bail out the banks that gave sh#tty loans. I liked the idea that someone came up with that instead of bailing out the banks those who walked away from homes they knew they couldn't afford, the govnmt would refinance anyone who had was still making payments at current market value then sell the loans to banks that weren't stupid. Would never pass though since it makes sense lol.

yea great idea, cut military spending! he just denied a contract to have 6 more birds built to replace some of the hagerd ones in Iraq. It's not like we're going to Afghanistan or anything.... oh wait, i just volunteered to go to afghanistan!
