What is your pre-trip checklist? When you are going on a long river trip? Just looking for ideas so I don't forget anything.

i have a boat tote, that holds my extra boat shizzle,
which incs: breathers, zipties, bungies, extra dizzy, spark plug wires, misc bunch of wire, and connectors, oil filter, funnel, extra bilge pump, float charger, small drop light, silicone sealer, xtra coozies, an fittings,hose clamps, and extra trailer brearings,seals, races. and other misc shit
tool box
crate with small floor jack and tire wrench
coolers
boat toys
towable
chairs
ez up
all my other boat shit stays in the boat under seats, like ropes, vests and 2 sand spikes, flags, diving mask and 3 anchors

From my racing days...
Blue painters tape for all the shit you know you are going to forget.
Stick it where you will see it and write down what you need to do.
Check tire pressure, change oil, sunscreen, registration, boat plug, etc.....
I also use it on my totes to say what is in the damn things. We once packed a box of Christmas decorations to go to the lake.... Now that can't happen. Was sort of funny though. Had a houseboat with Christmas lights on it in July.... 8)

boat and boat keys. Anything else i forget i can just buy when i get there.

Keys for storage door, everything else is in the storage unit.

I'm doing the list thing right now.. Making a few lists.
One for safety things, like truck and trailer Maintenance.
One for needs, like gas,oil,tools,food,gas, and gas
I've gone so many times and I just end up bring to much crap! Well I don't! She does! Lol
She's not on my list!

I load everything in the boat before I leave the house. Install the drain plugs, stuff chairs and umbrella under bow with anchor, shore spike, and vests. Cooler and beach bag with towels, sun screen and food goes in next. Then when I get to the launch prep area, all I need is 1st aid kit and waterproof box with reg that never leaves truck till we get there. Then cell phones go in the box when I put up bimini along with gun bag with wallet and my Glock 21. I have a spare set of tools I leave in the boat 24/7/365.
