He won first place at the Colorado state championship this weekend. Ice speed skating. It was a 12yr old and younger grouping.He'll be 9 later this month. Yep he hauls ass!! ;D

got any pics or video of him doin this? how fast do they go? i've only seen this stuff at the olympics and it looks like you need some serious leg muscles for it.

His coach was a 3 time olypian. Her husband is JP Kapka. He Apollo Ono,and 2 others won the world team compitition in China last month. They travel the 111meter ( short track ) in about 7 seconds per lap. I was too busy cheering to get pics.  :-[  I'll try to post some pics later. Thanx guys!
