Just read on Facebook this morning that long time jetboat enthusiast and former owner of the Moo jet boat Ray Black passed away last night in his sleep.I believe he was still living in Casa Grande AZ.
-
I just heard this as well. Rest in peace bud. He was a big part of the group a few years ago.

Saw that too. Sucks. He was one of the good ones.

Damn. Just thought about him a few days ago after seeing his old boat "The Moo" for sale on Craigslist.
He was a big part of this place. A real character.
Part of the reason I first joined.
Rest In Peace buddy.

I was totally caught off guard when I heard about Ray's passing. We were recently reminiscing about the Temple Bar trip a couple weeks ago, and brought up that it was Ray's first trip with the Moo boat and almost sank it due to loose hose clamps.
Miss you Buddy.
