no idea...i dont know how it ended, just some vid i found on youtube

Wow. At least the boats got good aim to get the camera shot.
I've always wondered, if you didn't have a kill switch, and your boat was stuck at WOT, what do you do? Do you ride it out, bail, or try to get back to the motor :screwy:

turn the Ignition switch off?? ???
not always the case.
i have seen the above scenario that pdub described happen twice (via youtube video)....once at thunderbird and once at ming. both guys were stuck WOT on a pass and couldnt shut it down. both guys bailed (while still on the water) and survived. both boats went airborn once they hit land and burst into huge balls of flames. (well, one hit a power line lol)
never rule out the obvious, theres ALWAYS room for failure.

kinda funny gt! but to shed some light on the situation...ok dark light, but anyway some of the local guys know that i goto mead with a group of people that dont exactly rough it....anyway this one guy i used to just freaking hate, and he annoyed the dog shit out of me....anyway make a long story short we worked out out differences, and we turned out to like each other....once again....he was out at mead, and making a pass in his eliminator...the hull he was running was way over motored, and anyway he was making a run "at night" and was headed back to swallow "which you heard me mention before" anyway his throttle stuck on his dual prop set-up, and they found him the next day pretty much a spatter under his bow when his boat ran onto shore! they say his boat hit about 100mph! RIP Randy....for one his hull wasnt designed for the HP he was running, and two he wasnt running a kill switch probably something that would have saved his life....the boat wasnt anything that we ran, but still....after that point all of my buddies even with larger more modern high performance boats went to kill switches.....you never know it might just could save your life....wow drunk post! im going to bed before i sound more rediculous

Barely 9pm and already drunk ??? ;D
