Does anyone know anyone who sells transmissions for a 96 Suburban 4X4? In San Diego. I am missing AVI
(with no tow rig and in need of forged pistons.) I am seriously considering dumping the $50 bucks it would cost to replace the 2 damaged Hyper-whatever pistons I have just to get back on the water... I can be nice to them... D@mn, ok they might last until the end of the season this time. My problem is the purchase of Forged pistons depends on the cost of fixing the the tow rig. If I spring for them now and the transmission needs complete replacement my funds for any river trip would be gone for this season. Fate seems to have frowned upon me, and I must wallow in misery
