Title: Rolls Royce Golf Cart

 have an electric golf car. it is a royal ride (rolls Royce) Model 11E. Made by Elmco Inc.

It has trays for 3 batteries. I am assuming it uses 3 6volt batteries

but i have been trying to reserach and it seems most carts run off of a 36 or 48 volt system.

Three 6 volts only give me an 18volt system. Am i missing something?

anyway i want to buy some batteries but cart batteries are expensive and i want to buy the right ones. I know to get trojans but there are 6,8, and 12 volt golf cart batteries offered and i dont knw what ones my cart needs.

The motor will say the voltage. 3 12s is 36 volts.
