Some boats look really good with them on, and some look like tug boats with them. Depends on the hull design. I dont think they protect a whole lot. my .02

In four 11' lengths, or 3 14.5' lengths. ;)

Truck only...order an extra lenth...to get the seams dead nuts, drill and install a rivet in the seam when your done installing, keeps it from walking around.

Was it the thin aluminum stuff, or the two peice, aluminum w/ insert? I do know that Taco sells both, pretty pricey though.
