Title: San Francisco bay gotta spread my dads ashes

Hey guys been a bad week. My dad passed away last tuesday. Im going to spread his ashes in the san Francisco bay 3/4 mile off shore. I know salt water aint good so i maybe looking for a new set of headers soon. Im not gonna be in it very long maybe a half hour or so. Then cruse it up into the fresh water to flush it. We were just out on October 5 at buena vista and he pulled me sking and bbq for my ol ladys bday. So if any advise for salt water would help

Dont have any advice about the salt water. I know nothing about that stuff. But I am very sorry for your loss brotha

Thanks everyone for your support. I talked to my brother and he says I’m crazy for wanting to go out in the bay in a old school jet boat. I laughed and said well if your not used to em i can understand but i totally look forward to hauling ass past Alcatraz and pier 39..... so after I’m going to wait to replace my bunks on the trailer till January or so and replace with all new guard wear.

Spray all the aluminum and chrome with wd 40. Helps keep the salt corrosion away, and easy to clean up. (Valve covers, intake, etc.)
Wash the trailer really good, too.

Well finally have it all planed. Leaving my trailer here in lovely Oildale friday at 330am. Arrive at Berkeley boat ramp around 9am. Im gonna split the islands in the bay Alcatraz, treasure, and angel island. Pass Chrissy field and out under the golden gate bridge. Spread my dads ashes then head back to Berkeley then head to vierias resort where i rented a cabin on the Sacramento delta and cruise the delta friday afternoon and all day saturday. Then head back home on sunday.

The swells were only 4 feet me an the ol lady made it post later driving to cabin

Here is a couple pics before we got out in the rough water......could barely see anything due to fog.....I’m gonna have to fix the floor now hit a couple good wave and cracked where the throttle is bolted down

Well here are pics from yesterday. We started out at vierias resort and jetted to rustys porthole for drinks then the sugarbarge and then back to vierias. We hung out for a bit then went out for a evening run to rio vista the point and had a beer. Then we cruise back to the cabin. Boat ran good still have to figure out whats going on with the driver side gas tank it is starting to bog again. Im gonna change the fuel line i think.
