Anyone heading out this weekend? I'll be at one of the two Saturday afternoon. I haven't gone for several weeks -does San V still have a wait to get on? Thanks
-
Normally I would be all over it but this weekend is the boat racers reunion at Irvine Lake. What part of San Diego do you live?

I go to El Cap almost every weekend. I heard the police are REAL strict at San V from several boaters. From noise to speed limit. They have gone out of their way to help me at El Cap. I was there yesterday, a little choppy but still very drivable. I saw the police boat just watch as guy came out of the no wake zone on the North end at full throttle he slowed a bit wwhen he saw the cop, but they didn't even go and talk to him.

I usually go to San V when I have the chance. I've guess I've been lucky and never harassed there. I have the black sheep of jet boats: 24-25', V, and a Hawaiian. I guess they assume this can't get me in any trouble, lol. No super, no turbo -just a cruiser. I live in central SD-east of downtown.
I've only been to El Cap once, and that was last year. We made a day camp on the north arm -but the wind was blowin' 30mph... made for a crappy day. San V, where usually in back of the kidding tow area once or twice a month. I guess that depends on the honeydo list ;D.
I've probably seen some of you out there, but never knew it...

Does anyone know if there are lines at San V these day? Otherwise I'll be at El Cap. There may be too many of us so I'll be at the beach next to the ramp. Stop by for a frosty if your in the area!

Last time I went to San V there was already too many people on the water and they had to wait till somebody left in order to let anyone in. What day do you plan on going?
-
Saturday afternoon -after the Camp Pendleton mud run... By that time of day, El Cap may be the best spot to get on without the wait.
I was at San V right before they opened to water contact and we got right on. I'm not counting on that with water contact this time of year.

Most likely I will be at El Cap on Sunday.
