Relax - I have nothing planned for the day. I thought long and hard about coming up with another prank for the site, but the last one 3 years ago will be hard to beat for a long time.

And a little bonus - anyone remember these other ones?


I turned the entire front page backwards, took a few of you awhile to even notice it.


This one was tough on the eyes. This was back in 2007. I turned the entire site pink, with this header image. It upset quite a few people as you can imagine.

Bump....I did do something for 2014. I ran banner ads for Jet Boat Plus (which was discovered to be a chop shop at the time) and if you clicked the link, it took you to April Fool's wikipedia page.

Nothing cleaver for this year, but check the original post for past April Fools jokes. The one in 2010 will always be hard to beat.

What I did to my boss.

Little back story, there has been mass movement as far as companies and whatnot lately and my boss is scared to death that any of us are going to leave and move over to competitors.

So I sent this to my boss yesterday morning.

"Xxxx,

I have been talking to Xxxxx on and off for the last couple months.

I think it is time I moved on.

I have been offered a position at Xxxxx Xxxxxx Mechanical and while it may be too good to be true, I have to take a shot at it.

Next week will be my last week as I will be starting at XXX on Monday 4/13/15.

Thank you for all you have done for me over the last 18 years.

By the way, don't forget to check your calender for today's date.

Have a great April 1st."
