So just a random funny thought!! Im a  stepchild on this site, i dont have a jet boat, i have a flatty v-drive.. but everyone on this site is cool. Iv bought and sold parts here. Met some cool people.. but i was wondering why isnt there a so cal v-drives site... then thinkin about it, so cal vd kinda sounds like sumthin u pick up drunk at 2 am leaving the brandin iron in berdoo!!!  So ill just hang out with u guys!!!! Lmfao O0

Hey your not alone lol. Iam a v drive guy also but have met some of the best people from this site. So I am here and I take a beating from the jet boat guys (all in good fun of course) so here I am to hang! Glad to be apart of this site with great people

there are "other" places with vdrive information.  but for the most part its a bunch of old crotchety dudes bitching and moaning about not having the right strut angles and talking about their stuffing boxes.  i do enjoy a good rigging thread though.  vdrives look like their parts are just more fun.

In all seriousness, I got bit hard by the boating bug even before my first ride in a v-drive.  After that first ride at about 10yo, I had the diseases.   One day I hope to build a v-drive.  One can enjoy both for what they are.  Whackers just can't scratch that itch like a v-drive or jet.

You are not alone sir! I have my old Hondo and I'm working on picking up a Bitz. Doubt either will make it to the river this summer though. I'll keep watching you make passes at the lower sandbar!
