Title: SD Thunder boat 08' ?

Anybody enlighten us ,whats up with the upcoming TB regatta ,wheres the best place to watch and see , can you watch "on the water' ??

If they run the drags you'll need to watch from crown point shore. If you want to see the unlimiteds Fiesta Island is best. The unlimited pits and race headquarters are on Ski beach. There is a shuttle that can link you to all.

You can park your RV in any of the 3 places in exchange for your first born.

There are many hotels 3 minutes away off highway 8 on a stretch called hotel circle.

It's a huge venue and very expensive for tickets/parking but the eye candy is off the chart.

Thanks Jerry ,my Kids (S&L and Baby girl) Run/manage the Dana Marina on Mission Bay and we have Free accomodations in La Mesa,just wondering what the "program" is very excited cant wait its me and Ro's B 'days ,should we take use a boat or hang out on shore ? When you say "IF" they run the Drags ??  ??? whats up with that ? Oh well long as "Outbacks" or "On the border" has food and drinks WTF we're good for a road trip anyhow !! Thanks Tom

The San Diego bay fair has been teetering on exisyance for several years now. The dragboats have been there many years but not every year. I would just check the internet or with someone who knows. I was there one year when they only had like 12 dragboats show up and a couple years where circleboats ran instead.
