Title: Shake at speed
Post by: Rogers Hopeful on April 21, 2018, 10:13:34 PM
I was running down the river at wide open throttle and I think my pump sucked air. I got a bad shake on flat water. Was it cavitation?  It ran fine after I let off of the throttle a little. Just want to see if I should look further into this. Other then this it ran awesome on Friday.

Pretty normal over powered the impeller, lost suction ?if it does it a lot might want to look in to getting a loader. Mine only does it in choppy water. Im sure some of the experts will chime in.

Possible you sucked something into the pump? That’s the only time mine will do that, lots of river grass late in the summer where we go.

Sounds like you unloaded the pump. Check and see how wet your boat rides  getting more lift could help with that.  The rite loader can help as stated above.

Thank you for the replies. I was trying to find the sweet spot with the diverter.  I must have been pretty dry to unload the pump.
