My friend just bought a 23' Essex and is taking it to Silverwood next weekend(Aug 10th)...... I'm leaving for Vegas on Tues and wil be back on Fri. I'm considering goin to Silverwood on Sat morning. Never been there before. Hows the lake???? how 'bout the launch ramp??? I appreciate all advice...

I live about 20 min. from silverwood and haven't been there in about 10 years! all the locals round here say you have to make reservations to get in! even 10 years ago if you wanted to get on the water first thing in the morning you would have to camp out in line....they redid the launch ramp back then so it wasn't so steep.
