and I see pics of WHACKERS! WTF is up with that? There must be a DNS error and it's actually SoCal WHACKERS. Anyway, some of you may know me, some don't. ;D I've just finished a project boat and need help naming it. It's a 1969 (or 65 since DMV got ahold of the title) Stevens flatbottom jet equipped with a Berk JA pump, Ford 390 Fe motor .060 over, and gold metalflake gel.

I need to name her, and I've narrowed it down to these:
- Golden Oldie
- Jurassic Flat
- Flat Sucks
- Fools Gold
Any preferences?

Hey there roost . Welcome to the site .This project has come quite a ways and you have done an amazing job . My vote is for "Fools Gold". I was thinkin "Old Gold" was good too but then again I like chunky girls too.

If only you knew the whacker hell we've had to endure in recent days . You would have wanted to take your eyes out with your own hands . (I will still repay you that Brad >:D) Roost I cant wait to see it in person . One of the coolest rigs for sure .

Hi Roost
I like "Gold Rush" But haa It's your ride. It's really nice no matter what you name it. How long is it? Going to Parker?

It's an 18. Nope, I don't do Parker anymore... my boats are too small. We have a place in Bullhead by Lazy Harry's that's our summer home.
I think I'm leaning towards "Fool's Gold"..... it describes me and the boat. ;D

This is my last boat project for QUITE some time. This one is going to the Shack to make room for the next project (the wife wants me to build HER a ride). I told her she can drive the '23 or the '68 anytime, but she won't.....

Post up some pics of those ride Mike. There are some that have not seen them yet.

I took a lot of the pics down when I killed Roostwear, but I found a couple. Oddly enough, I don't have one of the Circus boat

Thanks for the compliment and the welcome. I guess I just enjoy unusual things, and the Stevens is one of the more unusual. Life's too short to be "normal".......
