Title: Some help , or ideas
Post by: Tomale 1 on July 15, 2015, 02:00:55 PM
I'm cleaning up a friends parents seadoo. They got some what looks like calcium build up all over it. Their usual routine is put the lil sucker in the water and leave it there for a couple of months. Anyways any ideas how to take this scum off. I tried the purple bottle but it really didn't work. Any other ideas?

You don't think that'll scratch it up?

Not real sure. Try a small spot in an area thats now really noticeable.

I've used 00 wool and aluminum polish on windows to remove water stains/spots

Go to Home depot and buy a bottle of CLR like some one else mentioned.  It should work.

I love this stuff. You will have to polish and wax it when done.

I put this crap in a spray bottle and soak it down and then wash it. Don't let it dry.

What purple bottle?  I use Kaboom Professional on the cooked water spots on my chrome headers with awesome results.  Haven't tried it on anything like that though.

I tried this stuff out on the bottom of my hull... My hull was stained up good over the years underneath. Spray this stuff on an wiped with a sponge. Within seconds it became solid white clean.
