My boys (4 and 6) love the boat. Always wear vests and now wear their swim goggles so they can keep their eyes open while underway.  I've always taught them that they never touch the motor or pipes no matter what. Not even when the boat has been in the garage for a month. They like playing in it when I'm working on it. At first they thought it was loud but don't even mention it anymore.
