Sweet new truck I like the new gmc's a lot was just telling my uncle today about the new one that comes with a 6.2 and can tow 10 thousand pounds they have really come a long way. 👍👍👍

at the boat launch in Osoyoos. It's become our lake of choice over the last couple years.

I thought that was Haynes point , been there at Cabana Beach every summer for 30 years til last summer when i got tired of being hasseled for my loud boat ,will never go there again

sorry to hear that, no problems for us so far. I have learned there is no grey area when it comes to our boats. At any launch people are either walking towards us or bookin it outa there. Makes it easy to tell who ur friends are...lol 8)

the old farts (and I count myself among them) that run the town want all the summer crowd gone and toward that end last year banned boat and trailer parking anywhere but in a downtown unsecured lot.no more parking it in my campsite and within the next couple of years will ban boats left on the water overnight, not that I would do that but its one more nail in the coffin. They dont seem to care how much we spend on gas food camping booze etc ,not to mention rattlesnake canyon and the windmill ,mmmmmmm I love the windmill. anyway its much more fun at the river down south

last two years we have stayed on the north end of town, these five villas are in a cherry orchard and overlook the lake. An East Indian family own and run this property, they would let me park the boat on their coffee table if I asked them...We visit in the height of the summer so I think I'm flying under the pointy toes radar. The day they start hassling the boats with the displacement larger than the Titanic and speakers AC/DC could use for a concert tour is the day they can come suck my exhaust pipe.....ahhh that feels better ;D

i hear that but sadly we are an easy target. the last time we went they were reluctant to let me launch at the same place we have gone for the last 27 years. longer than they have owned it and we have never been any trouble

thanks for the heads-up on Osoyoos, they won't catch me without a chase... >:D. hope our wakes cross somewhere down the road. ps. your going to miss the Windmill, those kids shovel the ice cream like they want to get fired, and Mike @ Campo, that Italian food alone is worth the 9hr drive for us!

NOT A WHOLE LOT TO CHOOSE FROM there.used to be a chinese place that was on main but it burned down 15 or so years ago.alway get pizza from the pizza factory across from the liquor store .diamond steakhouse is always good and the pub across from the husky has good food as does the one where the highway turns right in town as you are headed east by the park

we ate and drank at the pub where the highway turns downtown, liked that spot cause I could watch the boat from our table on the deck, had it tied off on the swim area bouy line. the local by-law are relentless down at the public beach, then I figured out to drink my beer out of a Tim's cup and they smiled and nodded every time they passed me
