Title: somewhat funny story
Post by: JMS-1 on January 16, 2010, 06:06:16 PM
i thought some of you might like this. when i was about the age of 3 or 4, i thought it would be a great idea to fill the lower unit of my dad's mercury outboard with sand and gravel.  shortly after it got replaced and i got  a belt to my A$$. now i have my own son and he is 2, today we were outside i was doing yard work and he was playing with his toy's and stuff, after that i went uncover the boat to work on it and guess what. he had the pump full to the diverter  with rocks...for a split second i was about to explode, then all i could do was laugh and call my dad and tell him . like father like son

Thanks Jason! That is the funniest thing I've heard in quite awhile!

My Dad used to tell me "Whatever stupid $hit you do to me will be delivered back to you 10 fold with your own kids" (Still got the belt, or worse, the oak paddle with the holes drilled in it! for whatever it was my dumbass did). I used to laugh it off (What 6-18 year old wouldn't?)

Lord he was right!  ;)
