Steering wheel question
« on: May 31, 2013, 04:44:35 PM »
Looking for a polished 4 spoke wheel with a red vinyl outer. Not into the ricer wheels with too much going on. Anyone no where I can find one? All I can seem to find is with white or black vinyl.

Good luck finding a 4 spoke. There used to be a hot rod shop back East that made them, but they're no longer around.

I bought a brand new one last season from Eddie marine in rancho, ran me about 100 bucks with a polished center they have them in stock all day, not sure if they make them in different colors.

Thought about doing this? Was wondering how the dye would hold up?

ive done vinyl panels for an old mustang before and they came out lookin like new... biggest thing to make sure it doesnt look like poop is to make sure its 50000% clean and free of oils.  then use an adhesion promoter, its like primer for vinyl/leather.
