Just got a new phone cuz the old one wigged out....dropped it a couple days later..musta hit just right and busted the screen. Picked up a new screen assembly and swapped it out. That was 3 weeks ago. Musta leaned against something with it In my pocket yesterday and busted it again. Getting tired of this shit. I ordered 2 replacement screens this time. Am I the only idiot with this problem or are these phones for little hollywood faags that carry them around in their padded man purse all day?

Im on my fourth iphone, not screen, fourth phone. Its been about 6 months..
I hate the damn things, but Id go crazy without one.

I'm coming up on 2 years, thin case, no problems. I keep it in my front pocket. My wife broke her screen in about a week. I bought her a bigger cover and no problems for about a year now.

Im not an iPhone owner anymore but when I did have it I have dropped it many time and nothing ever happened. But then I must I have dropped it one too many times and like you said it hit just right that it broke something inside of the phone and it wouldn't read the sim card anymore. Still works as an ipod though.

I started with a 3G iPhone, had it for about three years... But I must have busted it like 5-6 times... All different things. But then got used to it. I have now had the iPhone 4 for about 5 months now and haven't dropped it yet. But then again I've learned to keep it close to me, and not in my pocket as much... Haha, oh and a good sized metal case.

dont diss the tweed. those are fighting words.
ill give you the panther though. if i could do it all over again id get a vdrive.
anyways, with my g1, vibrant, and g2 i toss it in my pocket with my keys, no broken screen, no cracks, no scratches.
theres a reason iphones are offered with apple care. dont get me wrong i love my macbooks but iphones are piles of junk. theres a reason all those chinamen were killing themselves when they were being built.

I'm getting better at it. 8 minutes to swap the screen tonight....and it still works!
