As many of you know, there was a horrifically fatal accident in Lucern Valley this past weekend. 8 people have passed and several injured as one of the trucks lost control into the crowd.

Daniel (willowog) pit's for a driver of this race and had several team members at the site of the crash. One of the people who were killed was Danica, a close friend to the team. Her sister who was also there was also seriously injured.

Daniel wanted me to pass along that they are hosting a fund raiser for Danica and the other 7 people who died over the weekend.

The fundraiser will be held at Applebee's in Chino August 23rd from 5pm to 7pm.

Also, there is a website you can donate to (http://www.fast-aid.org/) to help support injured racers, support teams and their families as well as ensures the necessary support is in place to complete a thorough recovery and rehabilitation from motor sports racing incidents.
