Title: Suggestions please
Post by: beerjet on November 13, 2008, 04:49:02 PM
So my brother had a dog . The dog was ran over by someone speed up the the street the other day as he was walking him . We are convinced that niether him or I are ever going to be able to conceive another male so he considered his dog his little boy . Needless to say I've gotten several calls from him sobbing . It's bothering me. He has his boy wrapped up outside and cant any place bury him . So I'm gonna plan on goin over there (San Bernardino) and see where I take the pooch . Any suggestions . W've never done this . We grew up on a huge property so we always buried them out back so to speak .

I'm sorry for the loss.. I love dogs, check with your local animal hospital, ours (San Martin Veterinarian Hospital) is awsome, we recently lost a cat that we've had for over 20 years (my wife and mine's first pet together) and they actually had her  (the cat) cremated and the put the ashes in a garden rock, sent home a little condolence card and everything, might check into it...It was a little pricey, but what do you do?

Sorry once again, that's tough...

There is the pet cemetary along the 215 near Devore.

I've been told it is illegal to bury an animal on your property.

Your vet will take care of the remains for a fee.

My condolences to your brother and his family  :'(

Used to go to Downey Animal Hospital. They had a great service they offered for regular customers. They would cremate your pet so you could put they're ashes somewhere special or they would spread the ashes in they're rose garden if you wanted.  I thought it was pretty cool.
