Been on a Hobie before? Absolute kick in the ass! It can start the boating season earlier and let it run later...May be the only way I can get some lake time this year..... :thumbup:

Yep, Summer is over.  I took the boat out today for my last trip of the year.  I stood at the ramp and looked around, sunny but, cold, windy, generally ugly.  Didn't even put the boat in the water, just turned around and came home.  Why waist the fuel if its not going to be a nice day.

 Ive been on a Hobie before.  Fun little toys, until you have to flip it back over in the middle of the lake  :-[ .  But, big sailboats SUCK !!!!!! They are mind numbingly boring and should be outlawed.

Clovis aint too far from Morro Bay.  Let's go for a sail from MB to Santa Barbara on mind numbing slow boat.  If we're lucky we'll have the big swells and a 40 kt wind.  You might be calling for your mommy.  haha

I used to surf my Hobie 16 in the harbor mouth at Morro Bay.  And I had a GF who dug it.  Why'd I ever get rid of her? :banghead:

 No thanks  :screwy:,  I spent a week on one in the Florida keys and was ready to cut my wrists to get off that thing.  I'll never step foot on a big sail boat again (mind numbingly slow) and I could see all the cool boats speeding by all day. :banghead:

Geeez, I moved down here from OryGun. Cracks me up, it gets below 80 and people run for a sweater. Lets float bitches! Last two years we were out in Nov. and back in in March. Remember fellas we got Temple Bar comming in March. Also we gots a little work to do over the winter:

I love taking the boat out in the winter down here. We will get those sunny high 60's days and time to get wet. The motor sure loves that cold air and my beer stays colder longer sweater up and make a pass.

interior guy called yesterday, needs some parts, i may get my wood today. should get new motor plate today, done at waterjet, needs polish/install.
